Am I Bulky Enough Now? A Distorted Body Image

A self portrait on the subject of distorted body image. When I was a kid, I was criticized as too chubby. I managed to have lost weight during my teen years, but suddenly I was too skinny. I picked up gym and packed on muscle later, but I was never big enough. When looking through a glass vase, I see myself being finally bulky enough. However, I know it is optical distortion - an image as distorted as my obsession with body image. I am not alone. From excessive face tuning to steroid use, it's alarming to see that distorted body image has become a widespread phenomenon nowadays.
