"art of Eight Limbs"
Gold in Events / Sport
The name Muay Thai in free translation means "art of eight limbs", i.e. two fists, two shins, two elbows and two knees.
Fighting takes place in the ring, in stand-up collar. An important element is the fight in the clinch (short circuit), which is a characteristic, distinctive element of Thai boxing.
The strokes during the fight of the players are inflicted with such force that a large part of the fighting ends with a knockout and the players land on a stretcher.
The photo report was made in Bangkok, Thailand, 2015, among others at Rajdamner Boxing Stadium.
