They are Japanese Butoh dancers. They paint their own body and dance fiercely with passion. The world beyond the gate seen by Dante, the author of "La Divina Commedia", is such a sight. There were people who were suffering in the darkness and seeking salvation from God. There may have been some people who grudge against God without meaningfully because of suffering. As I imagined, I took a picture.
I was born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan and currently work in Tokyo, Japan as an advertising and book designer. Photography is not my main job, but I have worked in a photography studio and to this day I take freelance work. I specialize in photographing people in motion, whether it's in the performing arts or dance, regardless of location.
