This portrait is basically the transformation of a western person moving into the city. Trying to depict that no matter where he goes around the country/world he'll always be who he is. He expresses this by wearing this elegant fashion western look. In this portrait not only is he the main subject, but i was also expressing the culture in New York City. The background seems to be pretty busy, which really help the viewers to see whats like to walk down the streets of New York City.
